Nandi Inner Kora is one of the most sacred and challenging Tibet Kailash Manasarovar pilgrimage among devotees. It is regarded as the holy center of the universe among both Hindu and Buddhist religious group. Every year (especially in the year of Tibetan Horse Year in Tibetan Calendar), there are any pilgrimage groups from all over the world to have divine glimpse of Lord Shiva’s abode to attain release from the clutches of ignorance and delusion. Mt Kailash tour along covers circuit around the holy mountain-clockwise for the Buddhists, anti-clockwise for Bon adherents are known as a Kora or Parikrama (Circuit) and normally it takes three days.

What you can expect

Day01 Kathmandu - Kyirong [3,750m]

Tour starts form early morning at 06:00. Drive to Dhulikhel, stop for breakfast and then again drive to Kyirong which is 180 km from Kathmandu takes 05-06hrs. Upon arrival our tour escort will help you to go through immigration formalities in Nepali part and after immigration formalities 03-04 minute walks to other side of the border i.e. Tibetan part, there will be our Tibetan Guide with 4WD Jeeps and supporting trucks takes you to Zhangmu (Tibetan town 09 km uphill drive form border.). At Zhangmu you again have to go through Chinese immigration formalities and there you will have your lunch and further drive to Nyalam (30 km from Zhangmu takes 2 hrs uphill drive.) o/n in Guest house.

Day02 Kyirong Rest day for acclimatization
Day03 Kyirong -Saga [4280m]
After breakfast our journey start to Saga which is 06-08 hrs drive, 4050 m in elevation and over night in camp.

Day04 Saga-Manasarovar [4,560m]
Early morning drive to Manasarovar which takes 4-5 hours drive, 4550m in elevation and over night in camp.

Day05 Manasarovar- Darchen [4,560m]
Explore Lake Manasarovar in the morning and drive to Darchen which is 1 hour drive and, 4,560 m in elevation and over night in camp/ guesthouse.

Day06 Darchen-Darpoche-Selung Gompa or Chuku Gompa
After early morning breakfast trek starts (The Kora begins) and after 5-6 hours trek to Selung Gompa (5020m) or Chuku Gompa (4860m), in elevation and overnight in camp.

Day07 Selung or Chuku Gompa-Kailash Inner Kora-Mt.Nandi tough trekking-Dirapuk, o/n in guesthouse

Day08 Dira-Puk Monastery-Zutul-Puk Monastery
Parikrama continues to Zutul-Puk which will takes approximately 08 hours, 4,790m in elevation and overnight in camp.

Day09: Zutul-Puk- Darchen- Hor-Qu [4,560m]
End treks at Darchen and drive to Hor-Qu and over night in camp.

Day10 Hor-Qu-Saga [4,280m]Drive to Saga and over night in camp or in local hotel.
Day11 Saga - Shigatse (3,900m), Approx 10 hours slow and safe drive
Scenic drive through the highest point, Gyatso La pass (5,220m) en route to Lhasa via Lhatse and Sakya Monastery. Overnight in hotel

Day12 Shigatse-Gyantse [3,950m], 90km, Approx 2 hrs drive
Morning sightseeing to the Panchen Lama's Tashilunpo Monastery. Drive through the Tibet's biggest Agricultural field to Gyantse and visit to the Kumbum Stupa & Pelkor Choede Monastery. Overnight in Hotel

Day13 Gyantse-Lake Yamdrok-Lhasa [3,650m] 261 km, about 4 hrs drive
Full day picturesque drive along the turquoise lake Yamdrok, crossing over Kampala Pass (4794M) and the Brahmaputra River (Yarlung Tsangpo). Overnight in hotel

Day14-15In Lhasa:
Two full days sight seeing tour to Lhasa including Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar, Sera Monastery, Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery, etc. Overnight in Hotel
